Mel Buttle ‘How Embarrassment’

You guyz have a good Summer? SAMSIES!

I have a whole new stand up comedy show! It’s called ‘Mel Buttle: How Embarrassment’. It will debut at the Brisbane Comedy Festival on March 5th and then I will take it to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival too!  I won Best Comedy at The Sydney Fringe Festival for this show, whatever though I’m still real. I am not Raoul, Mel’s manservant and she is not on her jet ski right now….

What’s ‘How Embarrassment’ about? Mainly chickens and the year 7 disco. AND HEAPS OF OTHER STUFF! Cats get a mention. SURPRISE!

Mel Buttle: How Embarrassment

Mel Buttle (triple j) is a comedian from Brisbane who struggles with embarrassment, her desire to put cats in costumes, the paid parking at Chermside and keeping up to date with writing in her feelings journal.

Mel Buttle is proud to debut her hotly anticipated new show, in her home town of Brisbane. Mel has had a cracker of a year, scoring a column in The Courier Mail and her own segment with Tom and Alex on triple j. Not to mention, her hit podcast The Minutes with Mel and Patience debuted at #2 overall on the iTunes (whatever though).

Despite her success Mel Buttle is writing this with Cheezel stained fingers in her pajamas but wants you to know even though she’s crippled by this awkard third person writing style she’s very professional.

‘Oh no, you’re not going to write that are you?’ – Mel’s mum.

Second announcement.

Patience from The Grates and I are going to stage a special, once only, live ‘The Minutes’ Podcast recording as part of the Brisbane Comedy Festival!

The Minutes Live

After selling out The Minutes Live at the Sydney Fringe and our baller Christmas special at SouthSide Tea Room, Patience and I are super excited like a sausage dog in a cape store about doing our first ever (big time) live podcast in our home town for the Brisbane Comedy Festival.

The Minutes Live will be like a top night out at the Gaythorne RSL with your favourite Aunty. We guarantee it’ll be at least as fun as line dancing around Stefan’s needle with Sarina Russo.
